TEAR GAS AND LIVE BULLETS ALL OVER MBALE OVER THE AGE CONSULTATION

The age limit consultations in mbale this evening were intercepted when police fired live bullets and tear gas towards the crowd that had gather for the consultation.
Police involved in a running battle after residents turned violent when police barred the leader of Opposition Winnie Kizza from attending the age limit consultations gathering as organised by the area Mp Hon. Jack Wamanga Wamai.
Several activists fled off as soon as police started firing live bullets and tear gas towards them so as to disperse them.
However police say that they were given a directive that was issued by the authority above restricting other Honorable members of parliament from holding a joint consultation and therefore they were acting in accordance to the Command to see that the leader of Oppossition Ms Winnie Kizza doesn’t talk
 Meanwhile the local residents are defiant and say they shall use all means to see to it that they preserve and protect the constitution in support of their leaders.
“ We shall not all police to intimidate us , they are taking away our rights to talk, freedom and instaed they are torturing us!, Sanko Richard, an attendee to the gathering said.
