Musician Rema Namakula joined the rest of the world to commemorate Father’s Day which is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and influence of fathers in society.




Apart from going beyond the traditional call of duty of providence and protection, men nurture children and inspire others to the enjoyable side of fatherhood that has been recently a mother’s realm hence song bird Rema Namakula believes such a day should be remarkably marked to honor the amazing fathers who give in their whole towards sustaining happy families by fulfilling their responsibilities.

Unlike other people who joined the rest of the world to mark the day, Rema Namukula’s story is quite different since she lost her Father at the age of one. She doesn’t know how being loved by a Father looks or feels like but at least she has learnt its always pure by mere looking at how her daughters treasure their father.

In a Facebook post seen by Mbu, The “Akatonotono” hit maker praised all the male parents who give it all to see smiles on their kids and the Family at large.

“Lost my dad wen I was One year old so honestly I don’t know how it feels to have a father but wen I see how my gals treasure their father…it’s unbelievably amazing.. so Happy Fathers day to all the papas who make their babies feel loved and protected”.

Ofwono Opondo’s daughter graduates in Poland

Government mouthpiece, Ofwono Opondo is a smart man. While he was debating in TV talk shows about standards of Ugandan universities, the NRM diehard, li Ofwono’s daughter has graduated in Polish university,  Vistula . The proud father attended the 2017/18 graduation ceremony, this time not in Karamoja regalia but rather a black suit and yellow tie. According to online sources, in Poland, higher education is free for Polish students.  International students are required to pay tuition fees, which are typically in the range of US$2,300 (about Shs8.3m) -4,530 (Shs17m) per year at public universities. This actually makes Poland one of the cheapest places for international students. However, Vistula is a private university, nevertheless, it’s the only!
