By Waniale Isaac   The Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura, has paid glowing tribute to the fallen Assistant Inspector of Police, Andrew Felix Kaweesi.   Addressing mourners at a requiem mass held at Rubaga Cathedral, the Police chief described Kaweesi as a problem solver who helped him to handle the force. *Hundreds of mourners thronged Rubaga to attend the mass. They included high ranking government officials, relatives, police force and members of the public*.   The Archi Bishop of Kampala Diocese Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga led the mass. “Kaweesi always thought outside the box. By Waniala Isaac   Uganda's Assistant Inspector General of Police Afande Andrew Felix Kaweesi shot Dead. He was shot at by a group of unknown gunmen as he left his home in Kulambiro, a suburb of Kampala on friday 17.March at 9:30am. His driver and bodyguard are also feared dead. The shooting reportedly lasted 20 minutes. Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima has confirmed the tragedy. Kaweesi began his police career in 2001. After graduating at the police training school, Kibuli and serving in the force for about three years, he was appointed a personal assistant to Police Chief Gen. Kale Kayihura.   He was promoted after about two years and deployed as the head of Kabalye Police Training School. From Kabalye, Kaweesi became the Commandant of Kampala Metropolitan Police and was promoted to the rank of AIGP. Kaweesi also served as the Director of Operations before being appointed Director of Human Resource Development in the Uganda Police Force.

Yahoo News Over two years after Ricardo Medina ’s roommate was stabbed to death, the ex- Power Rangers actor pleaded guilty today to killing Josh Sutter. With sentencing set for March 30, Medina could face up to six years in state prison   While no picnic, to say the least, that’s a far cry from the life sentence Medina was looking at when he was arrested on a murder charge in January 2016. That charge could have seen him behind bars for 26 years to life. The actor, who played Cole Evans aka the Red Wild Force Ranger in the 2002 series  Power Rangers Wild Force, entered his plea to a lesser charge of “one felony count of voluntary manslaughter and admitted an allegation of using a sword in the killing,” the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office said Thursday.
