Babirye,40, has been married to Samuel Niwo with whom they have one daughter. State Minister for Industry, Ntabazi Harriet who also is a former Bundibugyo Woman Member of Parliament (MP) has appeared before Buganda Road Court to answer charges of forgery for uttering a fake Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) to the Electoral Commission, purporting that it was issued by UNEB. Officials from the IGG’s office arrested Ntabazi on Friday after it emerged that in December 2015, she knowingly and fraudulently uttered the UACE certificate to secure her nomination. In June 2016, the Parliamentary Committee for Appointments rejected her nomination as State Minister for Industry raising red flags on her academic papers.

Aged 65, Goeffrey has been living in Paris for a while and he is largely known for his song ‘Land Of Anaka’ which made him famous in 1991. The sad news broke by another celebrated musician and close friend, Joel Sebunjo, indicated that Geoffrey Oryema died on Friday evening with the actual cause of his death still unknown. Joel also indicated that they had plans of recording music together in Lyon in September and his gratitude to the late singer for his exceptional work.
