Anne Kansiime wins Honorary Recognition award in America

Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime continues to prove that her talent is her gold mine with yet another award added to her big collection. She won the Honorary Recognition award at the Siikie TV Network Rising Academy Awards 2018 held in USA.




Siikie TV is a multinational company that provides streaming and video on demand of independent films and original contents to film lovers, giving every artist a voice within the entertainment Industry. It holds awards annually and this was the second edition took place yesterday at the Presidential Ballroom Clarion Hotel in Philadelphia, USA.


Anne Kansiime attended the event and walked away with a well-deserved Honorary Recognition award in recognition of her outstanding efforts and hard work as well as influence in the world of film and entertainment. Kasiano Wadri’s son narrates eye witness account

Arua municipality contestant Kasiano Wadri’s son, Saddam Buni has narrated on his Facebook page, the events that occurred last evening in Arua. Buni, a former Kyambogo university guild president stated that according to an eye witness, whose name has been withheld, there were no clashes leading to the shooting. “It’s not true there were any fighting. I have been sleeping at Pacific Hotel. When I went, everything was calm.  As I sat at the reception after arrival,  three boys arrived and told us Wadri’s supporter was shot”, he stated. According to the eye witness , he advised Hon. Zaake and Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu to go upstairs to their rooms and they obliged. The source further alleged that there was no fighting but shortly afterwards, the place was surrounded by security operatives while the dead body as in the car.  Eddy Kenzo shared his HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) results with the public to counter various reports from tabloids and bloggers who have been claiming that his recent bedridden state is because his HIV positive. Ofwono Opondo’s daughter graduates in Poland

Government mouthpiece, Ofwono Opondo is a smart man. While he was debating in TV talk shows about standards of Ugandan universities, the NRM diehard, li Ofwono’s daughter has graduated in Polish university,  Vistula . The proud father attended the 2017/18 graduation ceremony, this time not in Karamoja regalia but rather a black suit and yellow tie. According to online sources, in Poland, higher education is free for Polish students.  International students are required to pay tuition fees, which are typically in the range of US$2,300 (about Shs8.3m) -4,530 (Shs17m) per year at public universities. This actually makes Poland one of the cheapest places for international students. However, Vistula is a private university, nevertheless, it’s the only! Empowered with knowledge and skills, there is no doubt Mr. O.O’s daughter will be of great value to Uganda! Congratulations!
