President Museveni orders the ban of hooded outfits, call for a meeting with Boda Boda riders immediately

President Museveni has opened war on the boda boda industry, saying the loopholes in the business are responsible for the unnecessary murders including that of Arua Municipality Member of Parliament, Ibrahim Abiriga.
Museveni was speaking at the funeral function for the slain legislator and his brother Saidi Butele Buga who were gunned down in Kawanda Friday.

The President now says, the government will burn hooded jackets and other outfit so that it makes it easier to see people faces when a search is mounted.

“Why do we allow people putting on hoods, we are going to burn the covering of your heads even when driving or on a bike,” Museveni said.
He also issued directive regarding helmets by motorcycle riders and boda boda cyclists, saying that each helmet will have to be numbered with reflector paint.
“The helmets we shall require new helmets with numbers and they must shine at night. No more hoods and helmets must have clear numbers. We also have other methods I don’t want to talk about here,” he added.
Museveni had earlier told boda boda riders at Kawanda that their business has become hard for the government to control and he is contemplating dealing away with it. Museveni had asked riders that they should be able to weed out people spoiling their business, by identifying them and throwing them out. He asked them to organize a meeting with him as soon as he returns.

Kasiano Wadri’s son narrates eye witness account

Arua municipality contestant Kasiano Wadri’s son, Saddam Buni has narrated on his Facebook page, the events that occurred last evening in Arua. Buni, a former Kyambogo university guild president stated that according to an eye witness, whose name has been withheld, there were no clashes leading to the shooting. “It’s not true there were any fighting. I have been sleeping at Pacific Hotel. When I went, everything was calm.  As I sat at the reception after arrival,  three boys arrived and told us Wadri’s supporter was shot”, he stated. According to the eye witness , he advised Hon. Zaake and Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu to go upstairs to their rooms and they obliged. While he was debating in TV talk shows about standards of Ugandan universities, the NRM diehard, li Ofwono’s daughter has graduated in Polish university,  Vistula . The proud father attended the 2017/18 graduation ceremony, this time not in Karamoja regalia but rather a black suit and yellow tie. According to online sources, in Poland, higher education is free for Polish students.  International students are required to pay tuition fees, which are typically in the range of US$2,300 (about Shs8.3m) -4,530 (Shs17m) per year at public universities. This actually makes Poland one of the cheapest places for international students. However, Vistula is a private university, nevertheless, it’s the only!
