Zari announced as miss Uganda 2018 judge

#Zari Hassan refused to drown and stayed afloat amidst all the troubles which rocked her life and threatened to dethrone the bosslady. She has got a winning formula thats kept her top and the latest is her being announced as a judge and patron in the miss Uganda beauty pageant coming down on the on 10th of August 2018 at Sheraton Hotel Kampala. The big news to many a zari fans came through via the official miss Uganda social media 
channels. Brenda Nanyonjo of the miss Uganda foundation says that the reason Zari was chosen is because she is beautiful and had achieved much while at the same time raising her five children single handedly. She will also be the guest speaker at the Corporate Social Responsibility event also a part of the miss Uganda organisation.



The Miss Uganda beauty pageant is proud to announce its first patron and judge for #Missug18 @zarithebosslady . Miss Uganda is a celebration of beauty with a purpose to inspire young women to succeed in life. We are also pleased to announce that she will also be a guest speaker at a CSR (corporate social responsibility) activity targeted to young girls organised by the #MissUgandaFoundation." Congratulations Zari.

Kasiano Wadri’s son narrates eye witness account

Arua municipality contestant Kasiano Wadri’s son, Saddam Buni has narrated on his Facebook page, the events that occurred last evening in Arua. Buni, a former Kyambogo university guild president stated that according to an eye witness, whose name has been withheld, there were no clashes leading to the shooting. “It’s not true there were any fighting. I have been sleeping at Pacific Hotel. When I went, everything was calm.  As I sat at the reception after arrival,  three boys arrived and told us Wadri’s supporter was shot”, he stated. According to the eye witness , he advised Hon. Zaake and Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu to go upstairs to their rooms and they obliged. The source further alleged that there was no fighting but shortly afterwards, the place was surrounded by security operatives while the dead body as in the car.  Eddy Kenzo shared his HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) results with the public to counter various reports from tabloids and bloggers who have been claiming that his recent bedridden state is because his HIV positive. Ofwono Opondo’s daughter graduates in Poland

Government mouthpiece, Ofwono Opondo is a smart man. While he was debating in TV talk shows about standards of Ugandan universities, the NRM diehard, li Ofwono’s daughter has graduated in Polish university,  Vistula . The proud father attended the 2017/18 graduation ceremony, this time not in Karamoja regalia but rather a black suit and yellow tie. According to online sources, in Poland, higher education is free for Polish students.  International students are required to pay tuition fees, which are typically in the range of US$2,300 (about Shs8.3m) -4,530 (Shs17m) per year at public universities. This actually makes Poland one of the cheapest places for international students. However, Vistula is a private university, nevertheless, it’s the only! Empowered with knowledge and skills, there is no doubt Mr. O.O’s daughter will be of great value to Uganda! Congratulations!
